About Us

Kids Count staff are led by a qualified Early Years teacher who trained at the prestigious Froebel College, London and who is a former Ofsted Inspector and experienced Managers, qualified to at least NVQ IV level.

We manage a team of highly dedicated, fully qualified and experienced staff of various ages and maturity who work with the children and their families in Key Worker groups to ensure that each child in our care is happy, secure and achieving their full potential. Kids Count is registered with and regularly inspected by Ofsted.

Our day care facilities are divided into four sections:
Babies: 6 weeks to 2 years
Toddlers: 2 to 3 years
Pre-school: 3 to 5 years
Out of School and Holiday Club: 5 to 11 years

Each age group enjoys separate purpose built facilities and planned activities appropriate to the age, stage and development of the children in our care.

We also aim to support children and their families with additional needs as part of our inclusive practice.

Meals
Our qualified chefs provide home cooked meals that are carefully designed for children and incorporate a healthy, nutritionally balanced diet. Fresh fruit and vegetables make up an essential part of our daily menu, including our own home-grown produce, nurtured by staff and children in our nursery garden.

Babies are weaned on home-cooked food and formula milk is provided by the nursery.

We can discuss and accommodate particular dietary requirements your child may have.

Settling In
We offer free taster sessions for all children and parents as our aim is to ensure you and your child are both happy and confident to join us at the nursery.

A month prior to starting at nursery, we will contact you to arrange an initial visit at a time convenient to you. This enables us to establish a good relationship with you and your child. There is no charge for this settling in period.

We adopt an open house policy and parents can visit us at any time.

We accept a wide variety of payment methods including Childcare Vouchers and internet payments.
